The Pilot On a typical day of auditioning, Julia is hoping for a breakthrough on a movie that is, at best, destined for the Blockbuster discount shelf. Her frustration increases as she auditions her way through a series of actors, until she finally finds the cream of the crop hidden amidst a group of misfits.   Episode 1 "The Death Threat" Michael receives a disturbing phone call, and the authorities are called in to investigate. The casting must continue, however, and a series of unusual auditions makes Julia think she may be losing it

Episode 2 "Michael Quits" Determined to get his screenplay produced, and with no hope of that happening at J-Squared Casting, Michael quits his job and leaves Julia in the lurch. He then hires an ill-equipped replacement who surprises Julia by running a casting session where none is needed.

Episode 3 "The Big Break" After a long dry spell, Julia and Michael are thrilled to receive news of an exciting project that will pair them with a world-famous producer.

Episode 4 "The Computer Glitch" Julia attempts to cast a film using an online system, with mixed results.

Episode 5 "The Reality Show" Julia's latest project turns out to be more of a challenge than she expects.

Episode 6 "The Organizer" When a mysterious stranger invades the J-Squared office, Julia's world is turned upside down.
